Fibre Packages

Our fibre packages include the following options:

• Corporate: Uncapped, unshaped, with a 1:1 contention ratio.
• Business: Uncapped, unshaped, with a 1:5 contention ratio.
• Home: Uncapped, unshaped, with a 1:10 contention ratio.

Additionally, we offer Voice Quality of Service (QoS) on fibre to ensure guaranteed voice quality.

CONTENTION RATIOS

What They Really Mean and How They Affect You

• Corporate Fibre (1:1 contention ratio)

This means you receive the full speed without sharing bandwidth. This setup allows you to host a server on-premises if needed. Your internet is directly connected to your firewall, offering the highest level of service.

• Business Fibre (1:5 contention ratio):

With this package, your connection is shared with up to four other companies via a hosted facility. Your bandwidth is connected through your firewall to the hosting facility, keeping costs lower.
For example, if you expect speeds of 100 Mbps, the actual speed may be reduced depending on how much bandwidth the other companies are using at the time.

• Home Fibre (1:10 to 1:20 contention ratio):

Home users share bandwidth with more people, making it the most cost-effective fibre option.

The greater the contention ratio, the more affordable the service.
